On September 20th, 2016, the Henri Capitant Association in Cambodia was pleased to organize a conference on the notarial profession in Cambodia conducted by Me Minsum Solidar, vice-president of the association, Me Kan Sothpolin secretary of the Association and Me Sun Tola, member of the association. In front of a full conference room, their legal expertise has informed the audience about the history, the play and abilities of the notary in Cambodia through a fascinating presentation. Here is a detailed summary. This event was also an opportunity for our organization to receive a check of 8000 Euros from the French Embassy in Cambodia to support the organization of training in criminal law to judges, magistrates, students, legal assistants and law students to be held in November 2016. This training will be conducted by Mr. Marcel Lemonde, honorary magistrate, former co-judge at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia and honorary member of our association.
Du 17 au 19 Juin 2016, l’Association Henri Capitant Cambodge a participé au séminaire juridique « Équité et Intégrité du Processus Electoral Cambodgien », organisé à Sihanoukville par la Fondation Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS). L’Association était représentée par son président Prasnar YI.
