The French Embassy in Cambodia is an important historical partner for the Henri Capitant Association through support to national and international Institutions in Cambodia, as well as financial support since its inception. The French Embassy is also an important technical support by the provision of its experts.
The French institute of Cambodia opened in 1990 under the appellation “French Alliance”; then it was known as the French Cultural Center. Working with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he is one of the major actor of the cultural, educational and artistic French cooperation in Cambodia. Simultaneously, it plays a key role in broadcasting French books, movies knowledge and ideas.
The Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE), has a French law branch which is a historical partner of Henri Capitant Cambodia Association.
The National University of Management (NUM), is one of the leading public universities in Cambodia and is conveniently located in the city center of Phnom Penh. Its vision statement is “Excellence in Academics.” This vision represents our strong commitment to the importance of quality based education and research which will help to facilitate our country’s transition to a knowledge-based society.
The CCIFC, Chamber of Commerce French/Cambodian is a business association which aims to promote bilateral trade and investment between France and Cambodia by all means at its disposal and to foster relations between the European, French and Cambodian business communities.
The Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia since its foundation in 1978, especially, after 7th January 1979 up to 1993, has successfully implemented its specific works and activities. UYFC has played important roles of mobilization, education and emulation in amongst young people to take part in defending and reconstruction of the country.
EuroCham Cambodia was inaugurated on June 2nd, 2011 with the support of three founding European Business Organizations: the Chambre de Commerce Franco-Cambodgienne (CCFC), the British Business Association in Cambodia (BBAC) and the German Business Group, Arbeitskreis Deutsche Wirtschaft (ADW). EuroCham Cambodia was established with the objectives of promoting the interests of European businesses operating in Cambodia, facilitating the entry of European companies into the market and creating an extensive support network among corporate and individual members.
