Workshop: Participation to the workshop on Unidroit/FAO Legal Guide on Contract Farming – 26 September 2014
The Association of Henri Capitant Cambodia has been invited to the Consultation Workshop on the Unidroit/FAO Legal Guide on Contract Farming (Bangkok, 26 September 2014) to participate and discuss on the Legal Dimension of Contract Farming and specifically to present the Overview of the Legal Framework of Contract Farming in Cambodia.
Several experts from the ASEAN countries were present at the workshop in order to share their experiences, recommendations, and best practices: Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
Cambodian speakers were represented by officials from the Cambodian Department of Agro-Industries of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries(MAFF) and from Cambodian Institute for Research and Rural Development(CIRD) and by the Association of Henri Capitant Cambodia’s delegation.
At this occasion, the Association’s president, Prasnar YI, has delivered a clear presentation on the legal framework of contract farming in Cambodia. You can find his analysis here.
